The property for this project was a beautiful barn conversion property in Norfolk, originally designed with PVC-U windows and doors.
Why they approached us
In creating their dream home, the owners wanted to reduce the width of the sightlines and increase the glazed area to allow more daylight into their property. Originally designed with PVC-U windows and doors, the homeowners felt the need to upgrade and use a more sustainable material – aluminium. To retain as much of the traditional and original look of any barn or barn style house, slim frame aluminium windows are strongly recommended for a modern yet sympathetic upgrade.
The solution
Complimenting the traditional overall look and to add a stunning contemporary style, the barn features double height 58BW aluminium windows, 58BD French doors and one of our most popular products – the BSF70 bifold door. The smooth Chartwell Green finish perfectly fits the brick exterior and the rural area.
